Come enjoy this beautiful waterfront cottage with spectacular views and comfortable surroundings, perfect for your family getaway.

The kitchen is well appointed, with all of the needed essentials (including drip and K-cup coffee makers).  Microwave, stove, and oven are all available as well as cookware.

The televisions have Netflix and casting available.  There is a variety of games for fun family evenings or rainy days.  The upstairs has a fun loft area with a small porthole sized window - our kids love to sleep up there.

Each of the bedrooms (1 on the main floor (king) , 2 upstairs (queen)) have amazing views and comfortable bedding, with linens provided for these rooms as well as the queen size fold out sofa in the upstairs lounge area.  Both bath towels and beach towels are provided for each guest.  

The main floor main bedroom has it's own bathroom with shower and features heated floors.  The shared upstairs bathroom has a tub/shower.  There is also a main floor powder room for your convenience.

The outdoor area with swings and hammocks is perfect for relaxing under then shade of the house and deck.  There is also a 6 person hot tub for socializing and fun when the sun goes down.  You can enjoy the adjacent bar area and mini fridge here as well, so you don't have to go far for refreshments when enjoying the waterfront.  The dock has a large umbrella for shade while you fish or enjoy the view.  Use the outdoor shower to rinse off the sand or just enjoy the warm summer weather.

Included in your stay is use of 2 stand up paddleboards, 1 2-person sit on top kayak, 1 2-person canoe, and a 4 person float.  Lifejackets are required for use of the watercraft, and many different sizes are provided.

There is a small sandy beach area right in the back yard.  The water here is shallow and calm, with the Chesapeake Bay visible from the house and just a short paddle downstream.  The bottom is beautifully sandy.  Upstream is more muddy and marshy, and we regularly get visits from bald eagles, herons, and many other kinds of wildlife.
